The Egyptian pound has continued its decline against the U.S. dollar in last week's trading, dropping 0.2 percent on the previous week, registering 5.994 EGP to the dollar, according to the Information and Decision Support Center's weekly report. The pound's value rose against the Euro by 0.7 percent on last week, registering at 8.006 EGP. It also rose against the British pound by 0.2 percent registering at 9.356 EGP. The Egyptian pound's value also rose against the Japanese yen by 0.8 percent on the previous week, registering at 7.701 EGP. The U.S. dollar continued to rise against major currencies during trading last week, while the Euro decreased by 1.4 percent. The British pound decreased by 1.6 percent against the U.S. dollar, registering at 0.645 GBP. The Japanese yen dropped against the U.S. dollar by 0.8 percent on last week.
