The value of the Egyptian Pound (EGP) rose against major currencies last week, according to the Center for Information and Decision Support weekly support issued on Friday. The EGP rose 0.1 percent against the U.S. dollar with the dollar costing 5.956 EGP, and the EGP rose 0.4 percent against the euro with the euro costing 8.525 EGP. The EGP also rose 1.7 percent against the Japanese Yen, with the Yen costing 7.767 pounds. The EGP rose 0.1 percent against the British pound, with the GBP costing 9.718 EGP. On the other hand, the U.S. dollar fell against major currencies in the world last week. The U.S. dollar fell 0.2 percent against the euro, which now costs U.S. $0.700. The value of the British pound sterling against the U.S. dollar rose by 0.5 percent.
