Mohamed Zidan scored a fine goal and set up another to help new club Bani Yas win 2-1 against Al-Dhafra in the Emirate Cup. Making his competetive debut, the Egypt forward opened the scoring with a brilliant freekick, before crossing for Senegalese striker Andre Senghor to head in the second after the break. Al-Dhafra pulled one back through a Hamad Raqea penalty that wasn't enough for the newly-promoted side. Zidan almost played the whole game as he was substituted in injury time. Bani Yas are second in Group B of the Emirate Cup as Shikabala's Al-Wasl are top with a better-goal difference after beating Ittihad 4-2 on Tuesday. Zidan's goal Zidan's assist
