Zamalek are set to sign Brazilian left-back Ricardo after he impressed during a trial period, the team's assistant coach Tarek Yehia said on Friday. "Head coach Reiner Hollmann recommended the club's board to sign Ricardo," Yehia told FilGoal.com. "The German boss believes Ricardo would be a useful addition to Zamalek squad." Zamalek had been seeking to sign a new left-back after releasing duo Tarek Al-Sayed and Khaled Saad last month. The men in white had Osama Hassan as the only natural left-back at their disposal. Ricardo took part in a friendly game against military club Al-Gaish and caught the eyes with some neat crosses and accurate shots. "Ricardo's arrival will complete the list of foreigners within our squad," Yehia added. Zamalek, who already have Tunisian defender Wissem El-Abdi within their ranks, have signed another foreigner in Ghana striker Junior Agogo.
