Bulgarian winger Martin Petrov completed a move to Manchester City for $9.64 million said the club on Thursday. The 28-year-old international passed the medical and signed a three-year-deal but the move is subject to the work permit. "There was an interest from the two clubs (Tottenham and Manchester City) but City made a better offer, which satisfied me and Atletico as well," Petrov told Bulgarian Darik radio. "I've already met Sven-Goran Eriksson and his presence in the club also played an essential role." The Swedish coach is trying to build a strong squad for the new season and Petrov is his fourth summer signing after Italian striker Rolando Bianchi, Brazilian midfielder Geovanni and Swiss under-21 captain Gelson Fernandes.
