The tension between goalkeeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed and his club, Zamalek, has eased after assistant coach Ahmed Ramzi paid him a visit. Al-Sayed had filed a complaint against Zamalek to the EFA asking to terminate his contract, and the club consequently suspended the player indefinitely. “Coach Ramzi and team administrators Walid Badr and Hani Ebaada came to see me and we talked and settled things between,” Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com late on Wednesday. “I'm dropping the complaint I filed to the EFA,” the international goalkeeper said. The club is also expected to waive the 29-year-old's suspension. Al-Sayed is currently nursing a hand injury he sustained while trying to defend teammate Ibrahim Saied who was assaulted inside Zamalek club earlier this week.
