Ismaili midfielder Mohamed Abdul-Wahed hit out at Egyptian Football Association (EFA) on Thursday for failing to resolve the dispute with his former club Zamalek. "The EFA said my contract with Zamalek is illegal and fined the club EGP 50,000, so how they are hesitant in their decision now," Abdul-Wahed told FilGoal.com. Zamalek want Abdul-Wahed to pay back an EGP 625,000 installment that, according to the club, he received as a signing fee for a new contract. Abdul-Wahed, though, claims the money was not part of any deal. "The EFA ruling means the contract shown by Zamalek is forged, this explains that the money I got was a bonus on my old contract'," he said. The 25-year-old joined Zamalek from Tersana in 2001 before sealing a free transfer to Ismaili this summer.
