Egyptian international Amr Zaki said he received an official offer worth 2 million Euros from a Premiership side. Zaki, who refused to reveal the name of the English club, told FilGoal.com on Tuesday that his agent will send the offer to his Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow in the upcoming hours. The 23-year-old striker has confirmed that Zamalek, who are in talks with Lokomotiv to acquire his services, have failed to live up to their side of the deal. Zamalek had initially agreed a 1.4 million Euro move for Zaki, which were to be paid on three installments.
However, after the expulsion of former club president Mortada Mansour, Zamalek officials are asking the Russian side to reduce the fee, an offer that has been met with refusal from Lokomotiv. A member of Zamalek's delegation, currently in Moscow, has informed Zaki that Lokomotiv officials have refused to lower their asking price or accept a reduction on the first installment that is worth 500,000 Euros. "Zamalek officials couldn't come up with the money for the first installment, and Lokomotiv officials are showing no leniency," Zaki said. "So as I said before, my move to Zamalek is becoming less likely," the former Enppi striker added.
