Head of Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish met Congolese Prime Minister Augustin Matata Ponyo and his accompanying delegation that currently visit Egypt at the authority's headquarters, Al Masry Al Youm reported Friday. One of the authority's employees, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that Mamish is expected to display a documentary about the new Suez Canal project to explain its importance for the Congolese delegation. They will also go on a cruise in the new canal. Ponyo has met his Egyptian counterpart Sharif Ismail in Cairo where they discussed the economic relation between Egypt and Congo and ways to develop cooperation among the two African countries.
