The Egyptian army killed three militants related to Wilayat Sinai terrorist group during a military raid witnessed in Rafah on Tuesday, Al Bawaba News reported. Security source said that the army had waged a raid targeting a terrorist hideout in Rafah, killing three militants. The Source added that the army seized automatic firearms and explosive materials. Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against Wilayat Sinai, formerly known as Ansar Bayt Al Maqdis, after it claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
