CAIRO: Customs officials at Cairo International Airport confiscated 200 stun guns, thwarting a passenger's attempt to smuggle them into Egypt. The stun guns were discovered when the accused, a passenger on a Cairo-bound flight from Bangkok, passed through Egyptian customs. A source inside Egyptian National Security at the airport said hundreds of stun guns have been confiscated over the last three months. The stun guns, coming largely from China and East Asia, are a reaction to political instability in Cairo, the source stated.
