Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 10 - 10 - 2024

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) will begin a partial trial run on October 16, said Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Thursday.
This milestone aligns with President Abdel Fattah's directives and serves as a prelude to the museum's full-scale opening. The initial phase will spotlight the main hall and select areas, solidifying GEM's position as the world's largest museum.
The new Grand Egyptian Museum, which will house the famous Tutankhamun collection among other major antiquities, is located close to the Great Pyramids at Giza.
