Ahli Dubai outclass Wehda in UAE League
Published in FilGoal on 01 - 03 - 2009

Ahli Dubai crushed Wehda 3-0 in the UAE League on Sunday in a one-sided game that saw Hosni Abd-Rabou receive a yellow card for an immature attitude.
Faisal Khalil, Ali Abbas and Clederson Cesar notched the three goals for the Dubai-based club on 26, 43 and 74 minutes respectively.
Former Ismaili prodigy Abd-Rabou was included in the hosts' starting eleven and played the whole 90 minutes.
The 24-year-old missed Ahli's previous game against Ajman due to suspension.
Having won the game, Ahli advanced to second place with 33 points, two adrift of leaders Jazeera.
Wehda, on the other hand, now lie eighth with 15 points.
Childish Tantrum
Abd-Rabou, who put on an impressive performance in the match, was cautioned along with Wehda's Ismail Matar in the first half after having an unusual argument with each other.
The confrontation started when the referee signaled for a free-kick for Ahli near the half-way line.
Abd-Rabou tried to place the ball a couple of yards ahead of the foul original position, but Matar flicked it back.
The Egyptian international insisted to push the ball forward, but UAE star Matar kept kicking it back.
Eventually, the referee got fed up and booked both players for their childish tantrum.
