Mohamed Abdul-Wahed dished out an assist as Lierse S.K. crushed Tienen 4-1 in the Belgian second-division on Saturday. Tomasz Radzinski opened the scoring in the 25th minute before Yoni Buyens doubled the lead just before the break. Canadian striker Radzinski scored his second of the night four minutes past the hour mark after finishing off a swift move involving Egyptian dup Abdul-Wahed and Ahmed Samir. Right-back Samir robbed a defender and found in-form winger Abdul-Wahed, who released Radzinski with a deft pass to slot home. Abdul-Wahed and Samir were substituted ten minutes from time while their compatriot Sherif Al-Beyali, who started on the bench, was introduced in the 79th minute. The victory maintains Lierse's second-placed position with 50 points, just two adrift of leaders Sint-Truidense, who defeated Oostende 1-0. The league winner directly qualify for the Belgian first division while teams from the second to the fifth places enter promotion play-offs.
