Ismaili board demanded coach Ricardo Ferreira to give explanation for the team's stunning elimination from the Egyptian Cup. The Dervishes exited Egypt's secondary competition at the first hurdle after suffering a 1-0 defeat to second-division side Dakhlia on Wednesday. "Ricardo will have to explain Ismaili's poor display," the club's vice-president Khaled Faro told FilGoal.com on Thursday. "He should state the reasons behind the embarrassing exit in order for Ismaili to avoid a repeat of that unpleasant situation." Former Hilal coach Ricardo was appointed as Ismaili boss in September, succeeding Khaled Al-Qammash. Under the Brazilian tactician's guidance, the three-time Egyptian champions won six games, lost three and drew once. They lie second in the Egyptian League table with 29 points, one behind leaders Petrojet.
