Ismaili overcome Asyut Petroleum
Published in FilGoal on 26 - 10 - 2008

Ismaili jumped to fourth place in the Egyptian Premier League after claiming a 3-1 victory at Asyut Petroleum on Sunday.
The home side wasted an opportunity to open the scoring as former Ismaili defender Ateya Saber missed a 35th minute penalty, which was saved by Mohamed Sobhi.
Ismaili kipper Mohamed Hommos punished Asyut as he gave his side the lead one minute before the break.
At the stroke of half-time, referee Sayed Shalabi showed Ismaili's Abdullah Al-Shahhat the red card for a second bookable offence, but reverted on his decision after realizing he made a mistake about the player's identity.
Nine minutes after the break, Hani Abdullah leveled the scoring for Asyut, but the in-form Abdullah Al-Saied restored Ismaili's lead after just four minutes.
Omar Gamal ensured the victory for the Dervishes with a 65th minute strike.
Ismaili reach 16 points in fourth place, while newcomers Asyut remain 11th with nine.
