Ahli defender Islam Al-Shater picked up a groin injury during the Red Devils' morning training session on Saturday, the Cairo club announced. Ahli web site stated that the 31-year-old full-back will have a scan after tearing his groin, according to doctor Ehab Ali. "Islam is likely suffering a first degree tear to his groin. We are not yet sure of the extent of the injury, that's why he will undergo further scans," Ali said. If a groin tear is confirmed, Al-Shater could be sidelined for several weeks. Meanwhile, Ahli revealed that forward Reda Al-Weeshi is complaining from a hamstring strain, which may keep him out for a few days.
