Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard hinted that the recent two-week international break had a negative effect on his team, which was held to another goalless draw at Osasuna on Sunday. Barca, having a lethal attack line, are yet to score a single away goal after two goalless draws in the opening three games of the new season. Rijkaard admits that his side is underachieving as he marked the negative influence of having most of his squad away on international duty during last couple of weeks. "We secured a draw though a win could have been better. The result does not reflect the work we are doing. We have not been able to work with the full squad for two weeks and it's not easy that way," said the Dutchman after the Osasuna game. The Barca tactician also justified changing star man Ronaldinho 25 minutes before the end by claiming that the Brazilian was tired after representing the Selecao twice last week. "It was to do with the fact that he had been doing so much travelling with his national side in recent days, when we make changes we have to analyse and protect our players," said Rijkaard. Barca will kick off their UEFA Champions League campaign on Wednesday when they host French champions Lyon at Nou Camp.
