Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard said his side's 0-0 draw against Racing Santander on Sunday's Primera Liga opener is just only the beginning of a long season. "It's the first match, not the end of the world. We have to keep on working to build our confidence," Rijkaard told the post-match conference. Expectations were high for the star-studded Barca team, whose lethal attack line failed to breach the defense of 10-man Racing side. "Obviously we always look for a win but we lacked the freshness to make the difference," he added. "It is always complicated away from home. Racing have grouped almost all of their players together and have made it difficult for us. It has been a clear message that nothing is easy." The Dutch tactician introduced new boy Thierry Henry in the 62nd minute as Racing's Ebi Smolarek was sent-off six minutes later, but the Catalans still couldn't find the net. "We brought on Henry in order to get more penetration – he and Eto'o have that," he said. The French ace was unlucky to hit the bar in what would have been a terrific start for his Barca career.
