Boujelbene to leave Ahli, Nafti to come in – reports
Published in FilGoal on 08 - 07 - 2007

Tunisian midfielder Anis Boujelbene could be leaving Ahli next season, heading for Qatari club Al-Arabi, Tunisian newspaper Al-Sabah reported on Sunday.
The paper claimed that Boujelbene was dissatisfied by coach Manuel Jose's decision to keep him on the bench for the whole 120 minutes of Ahli's Egyptian Cup final 4-3 win over Zamalek after extra-time.
The report said that the Tunisian international met with Ahli officials and expressed his willingness to leave the club soon.
Boujelbene joined Ahli from Sfaxien in January, but he failed to make his mark as one of three foreign players in the Red squad, and his next destination is likely to be Al-Arabi.
However, it was reported that Sfaxien playmaker Abdul-Karim Nafti will be Boujelbene's replacement in the Ahli roster.
Nafti is poised to a move to Europe, as French side St-Etienne are also interested in him, but the report stated that Ahli are ready to table 1million Euro offer for the Tunisia playmaker.
