Ashour to miss Ivory Coast Olympic qualifier

Ahli midfielder Hossam Ashour has been ruled out Egypt's clash against Ivory Coast in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games qualifiers on Wednesday due to injury, the Egyptian champions said on Sunday.
"Ashour will be out of action for ten days at least after sustaining a knee injury," chief of Ahli's medical staff Ehab Ali told FilGoal.com.
The 20-year-old midfielder hurt his knee in Egypt Olympic team's 4-1 victory over Belarus in the International Friendship Tournament's final on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Egypt's football supervisor Ahmed Hafez said Greece-based duo Amr Al-Halawani and Ahmed Magdi have arrived in Cairo to join the team's training camp ahead of Ivory Coast encounter.
Egypt will host the Elephants in the first-leg of the Beijing Games qualifiers' second-round on Wednesday.
