Ashour doubtful for Petrojet clash, Shadi out

CAIRO: Ahly midfielder Hossam Ahsour is doubtful for his side s clash with Petrojet in the Egyptian League on Sunday due to injury.
Ashour was substituted midway through the second-half of Ahly s 2-1 victory over Arab Contractors on Wednesday with a bruised knee.
Ahly doctor Ehab Ali said Ashour hasn t damaged his ligaments but the full assessment of the injury is yet to be known.
He will have scans on Thursday before deciding whether he will be available for Sunday s game.
International defender and Ahly skipper Shadi Mohamed will be out of the Suez trip after collecting his third yellow card.
Ahly are on top of the Egyptian League table with 39 points, five ahead of Petrojet, who are placed second.
The title holders still have one match in hand.
