David Villa scored a goal and made an assist to help Valencia beat AS Roma 2-1 in their Champions League game on Wednesday. Villa set-up Miguel Angulo to break the deadlock in the 13th minute before Roma skipper Francesco Totti leveled the score five minutes later. The Spanish international restored the lead in the 29th minute with a low bullet from the edge of the area. Valencia are in charge of Group D with six points, leading Roma with three points. Olympiakos and Shakhtar Donetsk are third and fourth, both with one point. Angulo snatched the lead when he hammered an unstoppable finish home after Villa's silky pass found him inside the area. Marco Cassetti was brought down inside the area by Emiliano Moretti and Totti fired the awarded spot-kick past Santiago Canizares. Villa was on target later when he fired a low bullet into the right bottom corner after Moretti fed him from the left flank. In Ukraine, Shakhtar Donetsk came from behind twice to hold Olympiakos to a 2-2 draw.
