Francesco Totti scored and dished out an assist to help AS Roma defeat Parma 2-1 on Saturday and climb back to the top of the Serie A table, putting pressure on Inter Milan. The Roma captain opened the scoring after five minutes when he chested down a superb pass from Daniele De Rossi to go clear and lob Parma keeper Antonio Mirante. He set up the second goal in the 75th minute when his perfectly-weighted cross found Rodrigo Taddei to head home. A header by Parma's Davide Lanzafame with nine minutes remaining narrowed the gap but Roma held on for a precious win. Claudio Ranieri's side have 74 points, one ahead of defending champions Inter who can regain their position on top if they beat Lazio on Sunday.
