ASSIUT, Egypt, September 23, 2018 (MENA) - Egyptian Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouli said he has directed the Ministry of Planning to provide LE70 million to the Emergency Hospital at Assiut University to accelerate its establishment. During a visit to the project's site by the premier, Minister of Higher Education Dr Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said the hospital has 487 beds including 15 in the intensive care unit and 19 in the recovery rooms. The 3200-square-meter hospital will cost around LE300 million. The hospital is going to be the first specialised facility to receive emergency cases and serve Upper Egypt from Beni Sueif to Aswan.
