Riva Pharma Soars 52.60%, Utopia Solely Down On Sunday; NILEX

On Sunday, the Egyptian Exchange of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) – NILEX has witnessed an unsteady performance amidst trading in 6 securities in which 5 shares advanced; while the shares of Utopia Real Estate Investment and Tourism (UTOP) solely tumbled by 1.04%.
The shares of Utopia (UTOP) closed at EGP 8.53 having traded value worth EGP 108.263 thousand distributed to 12.689 thousand securities which executed over 22 transactions.
On the other hand, the shares of Riva Pharma (RIVA), which started its first trading day, jumped 52.60% to close at EGP 7.05 topping NILEX's traded value that reached EGP 427.442 thousand distributed to 10.000 securities in which one transaction has been executed.
Egyptian Exchange (EGX) administration announced Thursday that Riva Pharma (RIVA) will start trading in NILEX without price ceilings or temporary suspension mechanisms during the first trading session only.
“Afterwards trading on the security will be in compliance with NILEX trading rules and regulations."
Worth mentioning, Riva Pharma had executed a private placement on 225 thousand shares which represent 10% of Riva on NILEX at $4.62 each, totaling $1.039 million.
Additionally, the shares of Al-Moasher for Programming and Information Dissemination (AMPI) climbed 4.73% to close at EGP 1.55 having traded value worth EGP 111.821 thousand distributed to 72.326 thousand securities, exchanged through 36 transactions.
The shares owned by Marseille Almasreia Alkhalegeya For Holding Investment (MAAL) soared 4.30% to conclude at EGP 5.58 having traded value worth EGP 132.638 thousand distributed to 23.752 thousand securities, exchanged through 33 transactions.
The shares of Univert for Food Industries (UNFO) surged 4.17% to end at EGP 1 having traded value worth EGP 154.275 thousand distributed to 154.275 thousand securities, exchanged through 16 transactions.
The shares of Misr Kuwait Investment & Trading Co. (MKIT) inched higher 1.98% to conclude at EGP 1.03 having traded value worth EGP 35.456 thousand distributed to 34.350 thousand securities, exchanged through 13 transactions.
