Published in Albawaba on 18 - 02 - 2017

"Al-Majid" and his Palestinian family live in "Al-Ayoub" district in Al-Arish and their residence is being renewed annually.

Arish (Egypt) - In Northern Sinai, the security branches succeeded in identifying the three dangerous elements who participated in all the last terrorist operations in Al-Arish including the leader of "Ansar Bayt Al Maqdis" organization (one of the Jihadi groups).

A senior security source asserted to "Albawaba", that the security branches reached the group leader who is "A. Al-Makeed", 32, who lives with his Palestinian family at Al-Ayoub district at Al-Arish and works as a hairdresser for men. He and his family have their residence renewed every year. The senior security source also added that the terrorist has been wanted for a while now but he was always moving between Al-Arish and olive farms in Southern part of Al-Arish. The source also affirmed that "Al-Makeed" is involved in the planning and the implementation of most terrorist operations which occurred in Al-Arish during the last months. The security branches also identified the terrorist who has recently joined "Ansar Bayt Al Maqdis" group and his name is "M. Sawwan", 21, a ceramic tile layer, who used to carry out the attacks on the checkpoints and the killing of civilians at Al-Arish and who was always accompanying his leader, the barber, as an assistant in the planning and the implementation and he is the brother of the fugitive terrorist "Kh. Sawwan", 35, who was working as a driver and who has two brothers who are also terrorists. One of those brothers is a student in Faculty of Dentistry and he is still in prison and the other one was killed during the security confrontations and his family lives in the district of Al Gareer in Al Arish city.
The security source explained that the three dangerous elements are inside Al-Arish and they always move from place to place with other 15 takfiris including a dangerous armed person who will soon be identified and his name is "M. G." living in Al-Mazraa district. The security source also said that this few number of the remaining terrorists is the result of the continual ambushes carried out on the terrorists spots by the armed forces in cooperation with the police forces and resulted in the killing of big numbers of takfiri elements.
