Germany's national security adviser, Christoph Heusgen arrived Monday in Cairo International Airport, coming from Munich on a two-day visit to Egypt, Veto News reported. A source at Cairo airport, who spoke to Veto on condition of anonymity, revealed that the German ambassador in Cairo was keen to welcome Heusgen at the airport. Heusgen is expected to meet a number of senior Egyptian officials to discuss the latest security developments in the region and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, as well as coordination on issues of common interest for both countries.
