Chairman of House Select Committee on Intelligence, Devin Nunes arrived Sunday at Cairo international airport, to meet with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Al-Bawaba News reported. Nunes arrived at the head of a US congress delegation on a private plane and will spend in Cairo several hours. He and al-Sisi are scheduled to hold counter-terrorism talks and ways to support cooperation in the fight against terrorism. He will also meet with a number of senior Egyptian officials in order to discuss the latest developments of the situation on counter-terrorism efforts. Furthermore, he will also discuss ways to boost cooperation relations between Egypt and his country in light of the completion of the final step of Egypt's roadmap, represented in forming new parliament. Nunes had previously visited Egypt in May, where he met with al-Sisi and minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shoukry. He stressed during his visit on the importance of strengthening coordination with Egypt in counter-terrorism efforts.
