CAIRO: The Coalition of Workers in Tourism and Hotels called on all political forces, trends and investors in the tourism sector to participate in a societal dialogue to discuss plans and programs to supporting and developing tourism. The coalition, headed by Abel Fatah Khattab, called on Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri to reconsider their demands and work to achieve them as a prelude to activate and enrich Egyptian tourism. The coalition announced in a statement their support of any protests and calls to calm fears of the tourists and the tourism sector. The coalition participated in the protest which was organized on Friday in Remaya Square under the slogan, “Tourism is our livelihood,” aiming to support the tourism sector. In related news, members of the coalition escorted some members of the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Freedom and Justice Party on a tour inside the pyramids, where they discussed the future of tourism in Egypt.
