The Coalition of Workers in Tourism and Hotels, headed by Abdel Fatah Khattab, organized a tour for figures from the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) under the name “Yes for Tourism.” Members of the high commission met with 50 members of the FJP, and toured the pyramids. The deputy chairman of the coalition, Abdel Hakim Yehia, said there was a meeting with some FJP figures. They discussed the fears of workers in the tourism industry regarding Islamists' stance towards tourism. Yehia said FJP's calmed the fears, saying that they consider the tourism as part of the economy to be developed to enrich the Egyptian economy.
