High Electoral Committee (HEC) closed the chance at midnight of November 19 for Egyptians abroad to register in its database to participate and vote in the next parliamentary elections. The statistics revealed approximately 353,000 Egyptians abroad registered to vote during the next parliamentary elections. Approximately 142,000 Egyptians in Saudi Arabia and 73,000 in Kuwait registered their names in the database of the HEC, while only 59 Egyptians in Israel registered their names. On the other hand, a source in the HEC revealed the next parliamentary elections will not be delayed. It is important to mention the first stage of Egypt's parliamentary elections is scheduled to start on November 28.
