The Suez Security Directorate today announced that several people have been arrested on suspicion of planning to incite tension and instability – including rioting – during the upcoming elections. The arrests come after intense security campaigns in the governorate. The detainees will be sentenced to three years imprisonment, which could be extended based on behavior. Among the arrestees include Sarneka, Hamada, M., Hamad, A. (El Kozaa), Sami, M. and Sayed Omar.
