The Egyptian ruling military council has not yet clarified its position on the amending of the election law, said Chairman of the Nour Party Emad Abdel Ghafour. “The Salafi Party will wait for the reaction in the street before escalating,” he added. “The ruling military council should commit to amending the election law because it is strongly condemned by many political and national powers,” Ghafour said. He also demanded that the authorities open the door for parliamentary nominations. Ghafour also denied the rumors that his Party will not participate in any demonstrations in the future. “Nour Party will participate in any demonstrations that enjoy national support.”
