CAIRO: A new novel will be published soon titled “Coast of Seduction.” The novel, by poet Mohamed Refei, is about the habits of Egyptian Bedouin women. The 140-page novel discusses the sea's hustle and habits, mythology and rituals of coastal people. It also tackles the calmness of the desert lands and the cultural aspects that formed the character of the Bedouins. The novel talks about Bedouin women's beauty and ability to cope with reality and find ways to adapt to surrounding circumstances by practicing astrology through reading the shells to tell the people about their future. The women also participate in discoveries of the oil in the desert and in tribal laws.
