Egyptian security surrounded young man who took down Israeli flag

GIZA, Egypt: The Egyptian security forces imposed a security barricade around Ahmed Shahat, the young man who replaced Israeli flag at with an Egyptian flag at the top of Israeli Embassy in Cairo.
The security forces intended to protect Shahat because thousands of youths rushed towards Shahat to congratulate him, according to eyewitnesses.
Shahat was transferred to a hospital by an ambulance accompanied with the Islamic preacher, Safwat Hegazy.
Eyewitnesses said Shahat climbed 12 floors. Others said he climbed 18 floors to reach to the Israeli flag.
Protestors cheered and celebrated in front of Israeli Embassy in Cairo. They chanted, "Lift your head up, you're Egyptian."
