Potential presidential candidate Mortada Mansour refused to appear before the prosecution to complete the investigation into the “battle of camel.” Mansour filed a case to change his counselor Mahmoud al-Sabroot, the investigation judge of the Justice Ministry. Al-Sabroot summoned Mansour to complete the investigation with him, but Mansour didn't attend. Mansour filed a complaint to the public prosecutor against al-Sabroot, claiming that al-Sabroot refused to receive announcement of the lawsuit. Youm7 tried to discuss Mansour's desire to change al-Sabroot, but Mansour refused to comment on the matter in order to keep the secrecy of the investigations. Mansour's case will be considered on September 8. Mansour is accused of being involved in the killing of peaceful demonstrators and was detained for 15 days pending investigation.
