The American passport belonging to the Israeli spy detained by Egypt is not forged, said security expert Maj. Gen. Sameh Seif al-Yazal. Al-Yazal said during a phone call with the evening talk show "10pm" that Israel always recruits spies of dual nationality. He said this method is used by Israeli security services, particularly Mossad, Israel's national intelligence agency. He added that Israel has not yet sent a lawyer to defend the spy, Ilan Grapel, in order to avoid responsibility. Al-Yazal said young people in Egypt have been contacted before by the spy. They filed reports and testified before the Supreme State Security after identifying him in the pictures in the media. They said the spy's confessions along with what has been revealed by investigations ascertain that he works for the Israeli Mossad.
