Zamalek assistant manager Ismail Youssef revealed he is looking forward to setting up a friendly meeting against Ahli as the Whites prepare to join their city rivals in the UAE. Ahli are already camping in Dubai while Zamalek should follow next week, with both teams preparing for the CAF Champions League round of 32 this month, amid the uncertainty of the domestic league. “I hope we can play a friendly match with Ahli, especially if we can meet in Egypt,” Zamalek's second man Youssef said after Saturday's win over Young Africans. “We also have no problem to play two games, with the first one taking place in the UAE.” After edging Tanzanian minnows Young Africans in the last 64, Zamalek await the winner of the tie between Africa Sports of Ivory Coast and Gabon's Missile. On the other hand, Ahli will get either Coin Nord of Comoros or Ethiopian Coffee in the round of 32.
