The remaining fixtures of the Egyptian Cup have been rearranged following Ahli's exit from the CAF Champions League, the FA announced on Monday. The FA said that the final match will be played on the 11th of October instead of the 21st, which means the cup competition will end three days before the kickoff of the new league season. The eight games of the round of 16 will go on as scheduled during the next couple of days, while the quarter-finals will be played on the 25th and 26th of September. The two semi-final ties have both been scheduled for the 1st of October. Four games are supposed to take place on Tuesday, with holders Harras Hodoud visiting Smouha, Ismaili hosting Bani Suef Telephones, Police Union facing Petrojet and Zamalek playing Wadi Degla in Cairo. On Wednesday 33-time champions Ahli clash with ENPPI, Ittihad and Gouna take on second-division Nasr and Asyut Petroleum, and Gaish meet Arab Contractors.
