Amr Zaki could feature for Zamalek against Club Africain in the Champions League but will have to undergo a scan in Qatar first, football director Ibrahim Hassan has confirmed. Hassan ruled Zaki out of contention for this month's round of 32 tie in Tunisia, fearing the 27-year-old would aggravate his nagging knee injury. Even though he didn't travel with the team for a pre-match camp in Syria, the Egypt forward seem to have a chance of playing against the Tunisians. “He'll have a scan in Qatar and then he could join us for the game in Tunisia,” Hassan told FilGoal.com. Untrue Zaki, who made his comeback from a three-month layoff against Ulinzi Stars last month, played down fears of an injury recurrence. “It was a knock in the friendly match with National Bank last week. It is untrue that the old injury was aggravated,” the former Wigan striker said. “I visited (renowned specialist) Ahmed Abdul-Aziz and he ensured me I'm OK.” Zamalek will face Africain on March 18/19/20.
