Ittihad are set to release Brazilian trio Giancarlo Mora, Frederico Klein and Lucas after just four months with the club. The trio, recruited by Brazilian manager Carlos Cabral in January, failed to impress during their short tenure and are now deemed surplus to the club's requirements. "We have reached a mutual-consent agreement with the three players to rescind their contracts," Ittihad chairman Mohamed Moselhi told FilGoal.com. "They will leave before the end of the season in order to have a better chance of looking for another club." Ittihad have recently agreed terms of a new contract with Cabral, who should stay in Alexandria until 2012. Meanwhile, the former Zamalek coach asked the board to renew the contracts of defenders Shadi Mohamed, Ahmed Adel, Ahmed Hossam and Ahmed Bakri.
