Mido benched as Hammers lose at Liverpool

West Ham succumbed to a 3-0 Premier League defeat at Liverpool as Mido didn't play for the Hammers.
An easy ride for the home side saw Yossi Benayoun and David Ngog secure a first-half lead, before goalkeeper Robert Green scored an own goal to make it three after the break.
West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola started with Ilan and Carlton Cole upfront, before introducing Benni McCarthy and Guillermo Franco in the second half.
The Hammers remain 17th on 31 points, three points off the relegation zone, while Liverpool move to sixth on 59 points.
