Sevilla have parted ways with manager Manolo Jimenez following a run of poor results, the Primera Liga side said. Jimenez was immediately relieved of his duties after Tuesday night's disappointing home draw with bottom club Xerez, the team's seventh game without a win. Sevilla were also dumped out of the Champions League last week after surprisingly losing at home to CSKA Moscow. Jimenez, who leaves Sevilla in fifth place of the Liga table, took charge of the Andalucian side in October 2007 after Juande Ramos' departure for Tottenham. A successor has yet to be named by the club, amid reports linking Luis Aragones and Michael Laudrup with the hot seat.
