Real Madrid winger Crisitiano Ronaldo has been handed a two-match suspension for receiving a straight card in Los Blancos' 2-0 victory over Malaga last weekend. The Portuguese wizard, who scored both goals in the league game, was sent off after elbowing Patrick Mtiliga in the face in an open-play challenge. Real appealed against the ruling which was issued by La Liga's competition committee. A final decision should be made on Thursday. Ronaldo, who joind the Spanish giants from Manchester United in the summer for €94 million, has been dismissed twice so far this season.
