Ahli star Mohamed Abou-Treika said he is feeling much better with his foot injury and may well return sooner than expected. The 32-year-old has been struggling with a metatarsal stress fracture which forced him to miss out on Egypt's African Cup of Nations campaign. While Ahli have set a two-month layoff for the injury-ridden star, Abou-Treika revealed that his recent scan was positive. "I am feeling a lot better with my foot," the Egypt playmaker was quoted by Ahli's official site. "The recent scan showed that there is a chance I can return to full fitness before two months." As part of his rehab, Abou-Treika will fly to Germany by the end of January.
