Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho believes his side played attacking football against Barcelona in Wednesday's Champions League clash but his counterpart Josep Guardiola thinks otherwise. Honors were even in the opening game of Group F after neither side could find a breakthrough in the San Siro. Chances were few and far between with Barca's Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Inter's Samuel Eto'o, who swapped clubs in the close season, failing to impress. Guardiola says it was difficult for European champions Barcelona to break down a resolute Inter defense. "It's never easy when there are 9 players in the goal area," the treble-winning Spanish coach said after the game. "Maybe we lacked a bit of bite from the midfield to unsettle them." Portuguese tactician Mourinho, on the other hand, was happy with the way Italian champions Inter played. The Nerazzurri were brave and could have scored on several occasions, he says. "The best thing about tonight is that my team gave a very positive reply against a team that are European Champions," Mourinho was quoted as saying on Inter's official website. "You have to admit that it's not easy to attack Barcelona because they are a team who press high but we had those three, four or five chances which could have given us victory."
