Inter Milan's Patrick Vieira has ended speculation surrounding his future by vowing to fight for his place in the team's starting line-up. The veteran midfielder endured an injury-plagued campaign last season and was linked with several clubs. Arsenal and their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur were credited with an interest in the French international. "I played more than I expected to during the summer friendlies, now I can train without the slightest fitness worry," Vieira told French newspaper L'Equipe. "I will stay at Inter and try to play as much as possible." Vieira could start Inter's Serie A opener against Bari on Sunday as Argentinean midfielder Esteban Cambiasso is nursing a knee injury.
