Cesc Fabregas scored twice and dished out another two goals as Arsenal were off to a flying Premier League start, wining 6-1 at Everton. Denilson, Thomas Vermaelen and William Gallas scored in the first half to round off the win for the Gunners. Fabregas added two after the break, before substitute Eduardo completed the rout with number six. Louis Saha scored a late consolation for Everton. Elsewhere, Manchester City eased to a 2-0 win at Blackburn Rovers, courtesy of goals from Emmanuel Adebayor and Stephen Ireland. At Villa Park, Wigan pulled off an unlikely 2-0 victory over Aston Villa, with Hugo Rodallega scoring an extraordinary goal; Jason Koumas got the second. Newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley lost to West Ham and Stoke City respectively.
