Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani reiterated Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano is unlikely to arrive at San Siro, but assured that David Beckham is expected rejoin the Serie A side in January. The Rossoneri have been seeking to sign Brazilian ace Fabiano in the close season, but haven't agreed terms with the Primera Liga side yet. Sevilla are willing to let Fabiano leave for £25 million, a figure that Milan refuse to pay. "The deal is still ongoing. Sevilla will not lower their price and thus the deal is on standby. If the price is not lowered then we will not go ahead with the move," Galliani said. On the other hand, Galliani is convinced there is a substantial chance for former England Captain Beckham to re-join Milan in the winter.
Beckham The 34-year-old had a fruitful six-month loan spell with the European giants last term before returning to LA Galaxy, and now he's looking to have another stint at Milan. "David knows that the doors of Milanello are open for him. His lawyers also know that," Galliani explained. "I hope that he returns in January because the market that finished in November reopens then. There are insurmountable economic obstacles. "The most probable hypothesis is that a Beckham who becomes a Rossonero from January until the end of the next championship will then eventually return to America. "There is no chance (he will come) before January."
